Responsibilities

1. Domain business and technical capabilities:

Have a strong interest in Trustworthiness and possess a degree or professional knowledge in software, security, communications, or computer science, with a solid understanding of cybersecurity, privacy protection, software engineering, and AI.

Have strong technical understanding and innovative thinking capabilities. Be able to interact well with the academia based on the technical challenges faced by the domain, analyze the development trend of the technical domain, and explore innovative ideas and cooperation opportunities.

2. Resource exploration/connection and cooperation layout capability:

Be able to develop and master the cooperation resource map of the responsible domain.

Be able to lead the development of cooperation plans and layout strategies for the domain based on technical elements and key challenges of the domain, proactively explore the optimal resources required by the business, and facilitate cooperation.

3. Project risk control and business negotiation capability

Have professional influence and coordination and promotion capabilities. Be able to identify risks and handle problems during the initiation of technical cooperation projects, partner selection, commercial and contract signing, and project execution and acceptance, and ensure the standard execution of cooperation projects.

Have the capability of negotiating commercial terms for technical cooperation. Have basic knowledge of intellectual property rights, finance, export control, foreign affairs, and privacy protection. Be able to sign cooperation projects efficiently and seek win-win results while protecting Huawei's interests based on external environment, project value, and partner characteristics.

 Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. or postdoctoral experience in universities or research institutes, or experience as a researcher in leading tech companies with extensive and in-depth connections in the academic community.

Proven experience in technical collaboration, market analysis, and systems analysis, including technical resource surveys, business negotiations, relationship maintenance and development, and project management.

Have initiative, positive, dedicated, honest work spirit and good interpersonal communication and presentation skills;

Good English/Chinese/Germany skills.
